What is a pipe plugging airbag?
Pipe plugging airbags are efficient and safe operating tools in pipeline operations. They are inflatable devices used to temporarily plug pipelines. They are mainly used in maintenance, construction, testing and other scenarios.
Product features:
1. High-strength material: It uses multi-layer composite rubber and is embedded with a high-strength fiber reinforcement layer (such as nylon or fiber cloth). It is wear-resistant and tear-resistant and can adapt to complex pipeline environments.
2. Efficient sealing: It expands rapidly after inflation and fits tightly to the inner wall of the pipeline. It can adapt to slight deformation or uneven surfaces. The sealing pressure is stable to prevent gas leakage.
3. Multiple safety designs: Equipped with a safety pressure relief valve to prevent the airbag from rupturing due to overpressure, and equipped with a pressure gauge for real-time monitoring to ensure safe and controllable operation.
4. Wide application: It is suitable for a variety of pipeline materials (such as PVC, concrete, cast iron, steel pipes, etc.) and can deal with water, sewage, oil and non-corrosive gases.

Usage steps:
1. Check the airbag: confirm that there is no damage, leakage, and the air nozzle and pressure gauge are normal
2. Clean the pipeline: clear the sharp objects and debris in the pipeline to avoid scratching the airbag
3. Install the airbag:
3.1 Fold the airbag and send it into the pipeline, and locate it to the position to be blocked
3.2 Fix the airbag with a pull rope or a fixing device to prevent displacement after inflation.
4. Inflate: 4.1 Slowly inflate to the recommended pressure (refer to the product instructions) to avoid overpressure.
4.2 Monitor through the pressure gauge to ensure stable pressure
5. Blocking detection: Observe whether there is leakage at both ends of the pipeline to confirm the sealing effect.
6. Deflation and recovery: 6.1 After the operation is completed, deflate slowly and carefully remove the airbag after it shrinks
6.2 Clean and check the airbag and store it properly

Safety precautions:
1. Overpressure is strictly prohibited: Exceeding the rated pressure may cause the airbag to burst
2. Environmental assessment: Avoid using in environments with sharp objects, high temperatures or strong corrosive environments.
3. Personnel safety: 3.1 Stay away from the front of the airbag during inflation to prevent accidental ejection.
3.2 When working in deep wells or closed pipelines, ventilation and rescue equipment must be equipped.
4. Regular inspection: After long-term use, the airbag needs to be checked for aging and wear.
Main technical parameters of pipeline plugging rubber airbag:
Applicable pipe diameter: dn100-2000mm
Working pressure: 0.2-0.5bar
Airbag thickness: 3-8mm
Working temperature: -20℃ to 60℃
Inflation time: 3-15 minutes (depending on the volume of the airbag)
Number of repeated uses: 100-300 times (under standard operation)
Standard accessories: pressure gauge, tee, catheter. In addition, the air pump needs to be charged separately.
Precautions: Before use, clean the inner wall of the pipeline from sharp objects to avoid puncturing the airbag. Inflate strictly according to the pressure limit during operation and check the airbag status regularly.
